28th Commemoration of the Genocide Against the Tutsi Remember - Unite - Renew

Today is the International Day of Reflection on the 1994 Genocide in Rwanda. It marks the beginning of this horrific 100-day period from April to July of 1994 during which nearly 1 million Rwandans, mostly Tutsi, were killed. This is also the beginning of Rwanda’s national mourning period that will last until July 4th.

Today and everyday, we honor each of the lives lost. We stand together as a team to support, acknowledge, grieve, and learn. We encourage anyone interested in learning more to visit The Kigali Genocide Memorial or the Kwibuka 28 website.

Now, more than ever, we recognize the need to join together in remembrance so that we can manifest more harmony in the world for ourselves and future generations.

We hold peace and hope in our hearts.
